class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>unfortunately, I must begin with a sad reality.<br>It is no secret, nor can it be hidden, that over the course of millennia, countless innocent people have been tormented, abused, tortured, murdered, and literally \u201csacrificed\u201d in thousands of wars \u2014 all <strong>in the name of the gods of every religion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout history, religious leaders have stood everywhere \u2014 though usually not quite so literally \u2014 on the \u201cfront lines\u201d to declare these wars, on their respective sides, to be just, in \u201cGod\u2019s will,\u201d and under \u201cGod\u2019s blessing\u201d \u2014 and sadly, this continues even into our present \u201cenlightened and civilized\u201d world and time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A look at history unfortunately shows us that it is precisely in this area that our various Christian churches \u2014 together with our \u201ctribal relatives\u201d through our shared faith in the God of Abraham, Muslims from the various branches of Islam \u2014 have distinguished themselves.<br>Objectively speaking, these two \u201csystems of belief\u201d have thus, in the most negative sense \u2014 and without ever being able to deny it \u2014 far surpassed all other religions by a wide margin \u2014  <strong>in absolute contrast to what Jesus Christ taught human beings and exemplified himself!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, both religions attest to the absolute peacefulness of J<strong>esus, or Isa<\/strong>, as he is called in Islam, throughout his entire life.<br>Both the Bible and the Quran also refer to this \u201c<strong>Jesus\/Isa<\/strong>\u201d in their descriptions as the <strong>\u201cWord of God\u201d<\/strong>; in the Quran, He is additionally called <strong>&#8222;the Spirit of God\u201d<\/strong>; for Christians, this Spirit of God, the <strong>Holy Spirit<\/strong>, is another, the third person of the \u201dtrinity\u201d of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But precisely because of this contrast between what should be and what is, each and every one of these countless sacrifices represents a sad reason for us \u2014 a reason why, for us as Christians in \u201cLion of Judah\u201d (another name for Jesus from the last book of the Bible, the Revelation of Jesus Christ) is not primarily about any religious worldview or philosophy, <strong>but first and foremost about the most important question for us humans<\/strong> \u2014 and consequently about the implications thereof:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:3px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Why do we exist here at all \u2014 and what comes after?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>There are definitely only two possible answers:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">1.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Either \u2014 there is no reason at all, and consequently no \u201cafterlife\u201d for us.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our consciousness, our personality, our very sense of self has just as much significance as a rock, or that pile of dirt an elephant is currently dropping onto the savanna\u2014because then <strong>everything that exists would have come about purely by chance<\/strong>, and any further development through evolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, several of our physical laws directly contradict this. For example, the second law of thermodynamics states that disorder in a closed system, such as our universe, is constantly increasing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But how, then, can countless groups of galaxy clusters\u2014full of \u201cMilky Ways\u201d like ours, all consisting of billions of suns, many with stable planetary systems\u2014let alone such complex organic life forms as ourselves, with a compass for \u201cgood and evil,\u201d our conscience, and a sense of eternity\u2014emerge from a chaotically swirling plasma???<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">2.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Or else \u2014 something did have a purpose in mind,<\/strong><br>when \u201cIT,\u201d according to current scientific understanding, <strong>created<\/strong> the five dimensions of space \u201cknown\u201d to us<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(the <strong>height, width<\/strong>, and <strong>depth<\/strong> that our bodies occupy and within which we can move),<br><br><strong>time<\/strong> (through which we can attain consciousness, but which, unfortunately, also represents a one-way street with a beginning and an end for us)<br><br>and, through energy or matter (of which we are physically composed and which we also constantly need to live), <strong>\u201cspacetime curvature\u201d <\/strong>(due to the mass of all matter in the universe and the resulting gravity, the three dimensions of space and also time are \u201cbent\u201d or even \u201cfolded\u201d \ud83d\ude42 )<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>in a so-called \u201cBig Bang\u201d<strong> out of \u201cnothing.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-76_88b1fd-46 .kt-block-spacer{height:20px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-76_88b1fd-46 .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:#eee;width:80%;border-top-style:solid;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-76_88b1fd-46\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Even purely investigative sciences, such as archaeology, show that apparently not even the molecules of something as banal as a plastic bag have come together by chance over the past 4.5 billion years of our solar system\u2019s existence.<br>And this is despite the fact that the elements required for this should have existed for several billion years already!<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-76_fc363e-21 .kt-block-spacer{height:20px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-76_fc363e-21 .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:#eee;width:80%;border-top-style:solid;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-76_fc363e-21\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">But \u2014 does modern science deny the existence of a Creator God altogether?<\/h6>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-76_463374-30 .kt-block-spacer{height:30px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-76_463374-30 .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:#eee;width:80%;border-top-style:solid;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-76_463374-30\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>For a man like Nicolaus Copernicus, who was not only an astronomer but also held the office of canon, the exploration of the universe offered the opportunity to discover and understand perfect and rational orders within divine creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The founders or \u201cfathers\u201d of modern science \u2014 Galileo Galilei, Johannes Kepler, and Isaac Newton \u2014 did not do so either.<br>All three were deeply devoted believers \u2014 they believed in the God of Christianity and in the Bible as HIS revealed Word!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even though Galileo Galilei had his \u201cproblems\u201d with the Catholic Church and its Inquisition \u2014 he was firmly convinced that all scientific exploration of nature further underscores the beauty of God\u2019s creation and makes us more clearly aware of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For Johannes Kepler, the entire universe was geometric proof of the existence of his divine Creator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And Sir Isaac Newton, astronomer, mathematician, physicist, and incidentally the \u201cdiscoverer\u201d of gravity, spent far more time to searching for and deciphering a coded message in the Bible than to science.<br>Isaac Newton learned both Greek and Hebrew for this purpose and, among many other things, \u201ccalculated\u201d a date for the \u201cend of the world.\u201d<br>For him, the entire Holy Scripture was \u201cencoded\u201d science \u2014 God\u2019s plan for the universe, which, incidentally, contains not only the history of humanity but also our entire future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But they are not alone \u2014 countless scientists such as Louis Pasteur, Blaise Pascal, Robert Boyle, Gregor Mendel, the \u201cfather\u201d of genetics, Georges Lema\u00eetre, the \u201cfather\u201d of the Big Bang theory, Joseph von Fraunhofer, Max Planck, and many other physicists and researchers who received the Nobel Prize were faithful and confessing Christians.<br>And even for Albert Einstein, who laid the foundation for our modern physical worldview with his theory of relativity, the existence of this God was never in question. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-76_2356f2-a0 .kt-block-spacer{height:20px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-76_2356f2-a0 .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:#eee;width:80%;border-top-style:solid;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-76_2356f2-a0\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">So we can confidently say: Science as such does not contradict the existence of God!<\/h5>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-76_2eb50a-4e .kt-block-spacer{height:30px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-76_2eb50a-4e .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:#eee;width:80%;border-top-style:solid;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-76_2eb50a-4e\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Although some of its representatives do \u2014 the \u201cproportion\u201d of atheists among them is significantly lower than in most other professions \u2014 and none of them has ever succeeded in providing proof of God\u2019s \u201cnon-existence.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On the other hand, many scientists have only through their search for knowledge in creation come to understand what God tells us in many places in His Word, and have only through this come to know Him. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, King David begins Psalm 19, verse 2, with:<br><strong><em>The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament proclaims the work of His hands.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Or Paul writes in his letter to the Romans, in the first chapter, verses 19 and 20:<br><sup>19 <\/sup>F<strong><em>or what can be known about God is plain to them (all of us), because God has made it plain to them (us).<\/em><\/strong><br><sup>20<\/sup> <strong><em>For since the creation of the world, his invisible attributes\u2014his eternal power and divine nature\u2014have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that they (we) are without excuse;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So if we are not merely a coincidence, but part of a grand plan, then there must inevitably be a <strong>Creator<\/strong> of both the plan and the creation \u2014 but <strong>who<\/strong> is <strong>He<\/strong>, and <strong>what<\/strong> is <strong>He like?<\/strong> \u2014 And what does this Creator of the entire universe actually want from us humans?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">The very simple answer from the God who reveals Himself to us in the Bible can be found in what He also calls \u201cHis Word,\u201d both in the Old and New Testaments \u2014 including in the Good News of Luke, the Gospel of Luke, chapter 10, verse 27<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>To love HIM, the Creator, with all your heart \u2014<\/strong> <br><strong>and to love all other people in the world just as much as you love yourself.<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:21px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Point \u2014 no more \u2014 but also no less! \u2014 Sure, there is still much for us to learn about this, but according to this God, everything essential is already contained in this single sentence!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It seems that <strong>this<\/strong> God knows us personally and knows how important this question is for each and every one of us humans.<br>We find this, His answer, in many places in the Bible, \u201cHis Word,\u201d from its first book (Genesis) to the end (Revelation).<br>Answered over a period of more than fifteen hundred years, through a wide variety of people inspired by His Spirit, for all nations and all generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For me personally, His answer is most striking here \u2014 in the parable of the Good Samaritan, <strong>when Jesus was asked, of all people, by a scribe under what condition a person could attain eternal life<\/strong> \u2014 <sub>(that is, an existence of one\u2019s own self in a dimension \u201cabove\u201d the transitory planes of space and time).<\/sub><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>As simple as God\u2019s answer to this most important question of humanity may sound for us<\/strong> \u2014 even the second part is difficult enough: to love our neighbor just as we love ourselves <sub>(in reality, we can only first make that decision and then act accordingly)<\/sub> \u2014 but how could we ever love something we don\u2019t even know? \u2014 <strong>That simply can\u2019t work!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Love presupposes a certain relationship, meaning a willingness on both sides and, of course, the time required to build and nurture any relationship \u2014 including the one with God.<br>As far as God is concerned \u2014 <strong>HE promises EVERYONE who seeks HIM that they will find HIM<\/strong>, which means: This almighty Creator of the entire universe <strong>is already waiting<\/strong> with open arms <strong>for each and every one of us!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for us and all of humanity, however \u2014 <strong>the conscious decision<\/strong> to enter into a personal relationship with our Creator, <strong>to seek this God<\/strong>, and to join His family \u2014 or not \u2014 is one that every person must make for themselves and can only do so for themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What particularly impresses me about this God of the Bible is that He does not demand blind obedience, but challenges us to examine Him \u2014 and everything else (including these pages) \u2014 and to keep only what is good!<br><strong>This God wants to reveal Himself to us personally\u2014and you won\u2019t find that in any other religion in the world!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are willing to walk this path with the Creator, all of us at Lion of Judah want to help you get to know HIM \u2014 and then continue to know HIM better and better.<br>Simply because we ourselves have decided to follow HIS call, and we realize that no one can walk this path of life with God alone.<br><strong>Everyone on this path is a brother or sister \u2014 or they are not part of it.<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-right\">We need one another simply to learn and practice love for one another.<\/h6>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"36\" height=\"36\" src=\"https:\/\/lionofjudah.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/1f609.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-200\" style=\"width:43px;height:auto\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a path that requires constant <strong>seeking, learning, and forgiving one another and ourselves<\/strong> \u2014 but above all, recognizing that none of us is perfect on our own or will ever be in this life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Despite all the effort this \u201cnarrow path\u201d demands \u2014 we are convinced that the Creator\u2019s reward, spending eternity with HIM, and sharing time with our brothers and sisters from all ages \u2014 far exceeds, beyond imagination, the cost for all who are willing to pay the price in the here and now!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shalom!<sub> (Not just peace,
