class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The name of the prophet Micah is a short form of Michayah or Michael\u2014both of which<br>means \u201cWho is like God?\u201d\u2014so one could say Micah means \u201cWho is like Him?\u201d<br>\u201cJah\u201d stands for the name of the God of the Bible: YHWH\u2014and \u201cEl\u201d or, depending on the dialect, \u201cAl\u201d for the \u201csupreme\u201d deity of the ancient Orient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Micah comes from Moresheth-Gath, a small village in Judah.
