class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Epistle to the Romans is one of Paul\u2019s longest and most important letters, and is considered the first\u2014and perhaps the greatest\u2014work on Christian theology.<br>It is also the earliest evidence of a Christian congregation in the capital of the Roman Empire, which at that time ruled over parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Personally, I am not surprised that God included this letter as the sixth book in His covenant with us humans.<br>After the Gospels \u2014 the accounts of Jesus\u2019 life and ministry, which form the foundation \u2014 and then the Acts of the Apostles \u2014 the story of the beginnings of Christianity, our faith \u2014 it follows logically that the explanation and the foundations for our entire life of faith must also follow!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paul did not yet know the church in Rome personally, so he presents to them in detail the full Gospel of God\u2019s Son, Jesus Christ, which is valid for all people worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This doctrinal interpretation of the significance of Jesus\u2019 atoning death has held special importance throughout the history of Christianity to this day.
