The vision of Lion of Judah Ministries

It is difficult to describe something that God has revealed over the course of thirty years and only gradually, as a result of many steps of obedience – a revelation that has perhaps not yet been completed.
It was very surprising to me that He showed many things in pictures, this is not the usual way in which He usually „speaks“ to me.
Now, as I sit here and try to write down the vision, it becomes clear that without these images I would not have been able to understand HIS intention with this ministry myself, far less to explain it.

There are three illustrations in particular that I would like to address in the order in which they were shown.
But without the confirmations from God’s Word, of which only a small fraction can be listed here, and through many other people, acquaintances but also through complete strangers, some from other continents, this service for God to the people would never have come about!
At this point, I would first like to thank all those brothers and sisters – and my wife Sabine, who has made the greatest sacrifices for this task.

For my own thinking, trust and courage, the vision of the work is just way far too big – it spans the globe.
All HIS children in the world from all denominations are invited to the promises God has made for Lion of Judah!

Let’s start with the name of HIS ministry:

Lion of Judah, the Lion of the tribe of Judah is a designation for Jesus Christ in Revelation 5:5:
Do not weep! Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome to open the book and its seven seals…

I think the designation as the Lion was chosen as a symbol of his sovereign authority and Judah, which translated means „praise, extol“, for his natural descent according to the flesh from this of the twelve tribes of Israel.
The name for the ministry did not come in an image but was simply implanted and deeply rooted in the mind. HIS name – because it is HIS work.
Although I am German by nationality and think in German, I strangely got the name in English.
At the time, I didn’t know the reason and I didn’t know the extent of the vision.

HIS banner – the Lion of the tribe of Judah

We received confirmation of the name and the meaning of the English language from the Lion of Judah logo, which was mentally „painted“ before our eyes.
A lion with its paw resting on the globe, with the space and stars in the background.
Apart from the lion, this is perhaps a view that a visitor could enjoy from the moon when it is almost between the sun and the earth.
Only in this picture it was not the equator, but the land of Israel, right in the center of the globe.

We found the explanation for all this in God’s Word, both in the Old-

Isaiah 66:1:The heavens are my throne, and the earth is the footstool of my feet …, as well as in the New Testament

Matthew 5:34-35:Neither by heaven, for it is God’s throne; nor by the earth, for it is his footstool

and in Ezekiel 38:12, a prophecy about the end times that has already been partially fulfilled, Israel is described as the center or navel of the earth.

So this vision was not for a single city or country, but God had the whole world in mind.
I realized that Jesus‘ statement that the gospel would be preached throughout the whole earth before His return is almost fulfilled.

Matthew 24:14: And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a witness to all nations, and then the end will come.

It was equally clear that today, thanks to technological progress, it is possible for us to make contact with people from all parts of the world in a fraction of a second and that we can therefore stand alongside them in unity in spirit.

An ability that has only been available to us since this last time before Jesus‘ return – and that His children should make use of!

On the one hand, so that the whole world can recognize the existence and greatness of our God through our love for one another
(John 13:35).

On the other hand, to realize the actual idea of the „ekklesia“, the community, and the togetherness of the whole family of God worldwide.
(in the original Greek text of the New Testament, a gathering of people for a specific purpose, usually translated as church or congregation)

Nowhere does God’s Word speak of several, but of only one bride!

HIS house – our common service for God to mankind

Another vision was like the roof of a house coming out of the sky from above, held by two hands.
Then twelve pillars began to grow out of this roof, not all at once but one after the other, until they all stood on a common platform at the bottom.
This floor itself stood on the top of a gigantic rock that served as the foundation.

The whole building resembled an ancient temple, as we know it from pictures of the Acropolis, only gravity seemed to be working in reverse.
In my mind, I was certain that the columns were not supporting the roof – indeed, that they were not even capable of bearing their own weight.
Each one was held from above and was firmly rooted in the roof, the ground only providing a further connection between them.

Further revelations about the image then followed.
The roof provided protection and provision for the entire ministry and for all the people in it.
It was not conceived and built by man, but called into existence by God Himself.
The pillars represent the individual areas of ministry that arise in the work.
Tasks for all of us, only a large community of people with the most diverse gifts can fulfill this vision.
But everyone who is willing to be a follower of Christ will find their place here to be part of building God’s kingdom on this earth.

The 12 pillars symbolize the following service areas in alphabetical order:

  • Addiction Ministry – assisting people with addictions and bondage of all kinds and helping them to become free.
  • Church at Home – house churches, the original form of meeting as it was common at the time of the apostles and the first Christians – and still is today wherever Christians are persecuted for their faith.
  • Lion for Israel – Israel is the common root that supports every Christian (see Romans 11). The whole Bible has a Hebrew background and our Lord also comes from this nation, he was not called Jesus but Yeshuah by all who knew him personally.
Here we want to bless Israel as God has instructed us and at the same time benefit from the blessing of Israel.
  • Man of God – Men’s Ministry, God’s Word says in Proverbs 27:17: Iron is sharpened by iron, and a man sharpens the face of his neighbor.
Every Christian man can feel addressed here.
  • Motorcycle Ministry – A ministry of motorcyclists, here we also want to reach people in the „Biker“ scene.
  • Prayer Ministry – Without protection through prayer, no work for God bears fruit in this lost world. And many who are „great“ in God’s kingdom have walked the humble path of intercession unknown in this world, in secret.
  • Prisoner Ministry – God’s love knows no exception and Jesus himself came to set the captives free.
  • Rocking Church – An area that focuses on music and praise (Judah) for God’s glory. Something that will still exist in eternity when there is no more sickness, old age or need.
  • Senior Ministry – The work for and together with our elderly fellow human beings.
  • Wellness – God wants us to be healthy and well in every area, physically, emotionally and materially. (3rd Epistle of John, 2)
Working on this for all of us is the aim of this pillar.
  • Woman of God – Ministry by and for women – find the calling that God has placed on your life.
  • Youth Ministry – An area of ministry for and with children and young people. But this area affects us all, regardless of age. Jesus says in Matthew 18:3: Truly I tell you, unless you repent and become like children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

All of these areas are intended to serve the whole body of Christ, and we want to assist one another with our respective gifts and abilities.
At the same time, of course, each of these pillars also has an evangelistic calling to reach the „lost“.

The platform under the pillars symbolizes the cooperation and affiliation of the various ministries with each other and also forms their interface with the material world. This level is neither held up by the pillars nor does it support them. It has only the rock Jesus Christ as its own foundation.

On this basis you will find, for example, our websites that offer information, online or telephone prayer support, activities in social networks or the Spirit Stations. These are meetings for brothers and sisters from all areas to which anyone can invite acquaintances, colleagues and neighbors in order to get to know God in a familiar circle.

I noticed that everything about this house was open, there were no walls, no doors, nothing that could lock anyone in or out.
My first impulse was: „Anyone can come here …“ but then I realized that the only way to this house of God is through Jesus, the rock (1 Corinthians 10:4: … But the rock was Christ, etc.).
The realization also came like a flash that access requires climbing up to the top of the rock, i.e. that each individual is required to be active and „overcome“ – even though this house of God is open to all HIS children from all over the world!

My wife Sabine has also received a wonderful promise from God’s Word, which applies to all brothers and sisters who take on this arduous journey to the Father’s house and remain in it:

Revelation 3:12: Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and my new name.

HIS covenant – the threefold cord

God showed a further promise for all brothers and sisters who place themselves in this covenant with HIM – however, this step also requires overcoming.
Giving up our own independence and sovereignty – we cannot be a Christian and say „Jesus is Lord“ but in reality be our own Lord, thereby deceiving ourselves.

Incidentally, it is the same image that is used in the Bible for the marriage covenant.

Ecclesiastes 4:12: And if one man overpowers another, the two will resist him; and a threefold cord will not easily be broken.

In this vision, I „heard“ the promise and was allowed to „watch“ how HE bound every brother and sister who was willing to do so, together with the whole ministry and HIM, into a unity. A rope that can no longer be torn by any enemy – as long as the individual remains in this covenant and thus does not destroy the connection with God and with his family himself.

One term in this vision for the global community of God’s children in these last days has a very special meaning – overcoming – but overcoming what?

It has taken quite a while, but in the meantime we have realized the answer:
It is the Father’s invitation to each of His children in this „last time“ to put the „I will…“ behind HIS will!

Lion of Judah Ministries does not want to and cannot replace a local church or congregation, on the contrary, we encourage each of our members to get involved locally.
Together with all organizations that regard God’s Word as the highest authority, we want to build HIS kingdom common in love as brothers and sisters and carry out our commission from Jesus Christ:
Mark 16:15: Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation!
