Introduction to the „Books of the Law“

The Books of the Law, the Jewish Torah, also known as the Pentateuch (meaning “five scrolls”), consist of the five books of Moses.

In addition to the laws of the Old Covenant for the Jewish people, these five books contain the creation of the universe and the world, the creation of humankind, and the history of the nation of Israel, from its origins up to shortly before the immigration into the Promised Land.

Although all five books were written by Moses himself up until his death, each of these books has its own distinct content and character.
That is why each one deserves its own introduction. 🙂
