The Bible – the Word of God
The ancient Greek word “Biblos” means “book” — a collection of writings. The Bible, or THE Book, consists of 66 individual books, including the letters of the apostles — which are recognized by all Christian churches — 39 in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament.
Clicking on any of the books opens it, and each chapter and topic can also be accessed directly from the respective table of contents.
In an introduction to the books and their summaries, we will try to provide a brief overview of their background and perspective.

A prophetic book about today and the future of the world
What kind of book is this, whose very name means “book” — and which claims to be the Word of God?
At the very least, it becomes clear to everyone that this cannot be an ordinary book, but that even from a rational or logical perspective, it is in every sense a work of superlatives.
A work that transcends all human standards — if he or she only considers a few of the facts that are freely available and verifiable everywhere in our modern age and within our Western cultural sphere. 🙂
There is nothing else that has proven its own credibility through thousands of literally fulfilled prophecies — over a period of more than three and a half millennia — time and time again — and continues to do so even today!
If the vast majority of the predicted events have already come to pass over the millennia — and if some of the events still lying in the future are being fulfilled right now, in our own time and before our own eyes — we can assume with a high degree of probability that humanity will also experience the remainder of biblical prophecy that has yet to be fulfilled. 🙂
So, one could go on almost endlessly listing the Bible’s uniqueness and completely forget that what really matters is only the content of this divine work!
Not only are our origins, spread, history, and future described in this book — above all else, the Bible is, for all of humanity — whether they like it or not — THE “instruction manual” for a healthy and fulfilling human life!
And not only to be able to attain this state in the “here and now,” but also to be able to maintain it and remain in it for all “eternity”—freed from all suffering, hardship, war, and sickness, and also free from the yoke of time—together with this God and alongside many brothers and sisters from every age—some of whom we can already get to know in this Bible 🙂
I don’t even need to wish you blessings when you start searching in HIS Word—for God has already promised this blessing in the first Psalm, in the second and third verses, to every person who…
2 but delights in the law of the LORD and meditates on His law day and night!
3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither; and whatever he does prospers.
But I wish for you a “hungry” heart for it, a heart that sets out on the path and the search for the truth—for Jesus says of Himself in John chapter 14, verse 6:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
And Jesus himself — THE Way — THE Truth, and THE Life, the Lion of the tribe of Judah — promises us all — and does so twice:
In Matthew chapter 7, verses 7 and 8:
7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you!
8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
And in Luke chapter 11, verses 9 and 10:
9 So I say to you: Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you!
10 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
The promise to ALL of us that we may come to know God, our Creator, is before us — and we are ALL called to SEEK.
But the DECISION to embark on this path with God, to “knock,” is one that every person can and must make entirely on their own!
We are still in the “time of grace,” and God’s “arms” are still open to ALL of us.
