Frequently Asked Questions about Partnership with Lion of Judah Ministries International

I’d like to get involved with the Lion of Judah Motorcycle Ministry,
or one of the other ministry areas; the rest doesn’t really interest me.
Unfortunately, we’ll have to disappoint you—that’s not how it works!
Perhaps the vision of the rock and the temple upon it illustrates this point.
The rock — the foundation itself — is Jesus, and the temple consists of the members of His family, all those who remain close to Him.
From this community of His followers grow the pillars — the 12 areas of ministry — that exist within Lion of Judah.
The sense of unity, the love we have for one another as the family of the living God, holds everything together… Let each one bear the other’s burden!
Why, after all, a partnership — or rather,
why become part of the Lion Family?
To that end, we must first mention that here at Lion of Judah, we place no value whatsoever on membership numbers, but only on people who want to become — and remain — true sisters and brothers in the Lionfamily!
As outlined in the vision, the focus — the fundamental “purpose” of our LORD in this ministry for God — is to form a family and grow together toward HIM — HIS “Lion Family,” which “works” together for HIS Kingdom.
For this reason, we use the term “partnership” here, although “family membership” would likely be a better term.
However, all members of a “functioning” family who are able to do so also work together as partners.
And in fact, a conversion to Jesus “automatically” means that we become part of HIS family here on earth, the “Bride of Christ” — the one and only “Body of Christ,” of which HE Himself is the Head.
This one great family, with the God of the Bible as our FATHER, His RUACH HA KODESCH (the Holy Spirit), through whom life was “breathed” into creation, JESUS as our older brother and example — and many other sisters and brothers.
As Christians, we should be brothers and sisters — a family according to God’s concept — for one another. We are not born this way, but can only become so through a free choice to follow Jesus — yet to experience this, each individual must also be willing to do so!
In the original Greek text of the New Testament, the word “ekklesia” is used to refer to this family of the living God; it is commonly translated as “church,” but actually has nothing to do with buildings or walls.
A better translation would be “congregation,” though the ancient Greek term “ekklesia” originally referred simply to a gathering or assembly of people for a specific purpose — specifically, in the biblical sense, a gathering of people who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord.
Until just a few decades ago, this “ekklesia” was only possible on a local level.
Thanks to advancing technology — such as the telephone, the internet, smartphones, and modern transportation — this reality has completely changed for humanity. 🙂
Well, the decision to accept this Jesus from the Bible as your LORD — and thus to feel that you belong to this “Body of Christ” with all your “rights and responsibilities” — is the only prerequisite you must have fulfilled beforehand in order to become a part of Lion of Judah, His “Lion Family” — after that, it’s entirely up to you …
Strictly speaking, every true follower of Jesus is also part of HIS “Lionfamily” — and has been throughout the centuries.
We just don’t know each other yet 🙁 — but there’s plenty of time for that in eternity 🙂 — and if you’d like us to get to know each other before then, just get in touch with us.
If you’d like all of this for yourself, but you don’t “know” this Jesus yet, aren’t sure how to become a Christian, or still have many questions about this Jesus… even then, get in touch with us — we’d be happy to help!
We can find all the other parts of the answer to the “why” in the Bible. 🙂
According to God’s Word (e.g., Acts chapter 2, verse 42), the fellowship among Christians is an indispensable characteristic of the church of Jesus — and for many good reasons.
Some have already been mentioned on the homepage, such as the fact that, according to the Bible, all of God’s children are one body (Romans 12:5) and a healthy, functioning body consists of many parts that work together harmoniously — no member can exist on its own!
But fellowship with one another also serves our very personal protection.
From beginning to end, the Bible is full of references indicating that an individual cannot survive in the long run but will inevitably fall.
As Christians, we are not successful lone warriors — at least not for very long.
Even the first apostles, following Jesus’ instructions, did not set out alone but were always accompanied by fellow believing brothers and sisters.
Even if we as Christians have put on the full armor of God (see Ephesians chapter 6, verses 11–17) — and, above all, have learned how to use this armor to fight for God — our backs are still unprotected. 🙁
We all need a brother or sister so that we can protect one another from any attacks from behind; someone who covers us and helps us back on our feet when we fall.
A commitment to fellowship with one another — whether in person, in prayer, or through email, the internet, phone, or mail — means for each of us:
The blessing of being able to get to know and “experience” a part of our eternal family already in “this world,” as well as the support and protection we need right here in “this life,” where we still need it — and the opportunity to be there for one another!
But I’m Catholic, Protestant, Calvinist, Baptist, Methodist, Pentecostal,
or a member of one of the Orthodox Churches.
It’s perfectly fine to identify with a denomination — as long as that denomination also confesses Jesus Christ as Lord and God and regards the Bible as God’s Word and the highest authority!
Even among our brothers and sisters in the Lionfamily, many belong to a denomination — but no denomination has died for you, and no denominational affiliation can save you; only Jesus Himself can do that!
And it is HE alone who decides who belongs to HIS family, whom HE calls friend and brother, and who, among all who confess HIM, has truly given their life to HIM.
The family of God is the sum of the true followers of Christ from all Christian denominations — and beyond!
I already belong to a congregation or church!
That’s great — we’re truly happy to hear that, because belonging to a local church is, after all, a biblical principle for Christians.
Most of us do that as well, and we can only encourage everyone else to do the same! 🙂
Lion of Judah cannot and does not intend to replace a local church!
We want to serve everyone who is “helping to build God’s kingdom,” support one another in this, be there for one another, and help one another become more and more like HIM and more and more like HIS “spotless” bride.
However, this “Body of Christ,” to which we all belong, isn’t limited to a single village, city, or country — it extends all around the world.
We have brothers and sisters in every nation; many of them are far less well-off than we are, and they would be grateful for our support.
Some are persecuted and even threatened with death because of their confession of faith in Jesus Christ — but each one of them is part of our own family and such a blessing to us!
Immediately before Jesus ascended into heaven to take His seat on the throne there as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, He gave His faithful disciples one final commission:
“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation!” (Mark 16:15).
Indeed, the preaching of the Gospel to the ends of the earth is even a condition for Jesus’ return (Matthew 24:14).
Of course, not all of us can or should quit our jobs right now, leave our families, and set out to go on a mission.
But everyone who confesses Jesus Christ as their LORD also has a calling to do their part in this work for their Lord!
If you’re looking for a way to do this — we in the Lionfamily want to help one another with that, too.
Am I too old or too young?
Yes, it’s certainly possible to be “too young.
You have to be mature enough to understand what Jesus did for humanity and what it means for you to accept HIS sacrifice as the price for your life.
But our oldest member was born back in 1933, so there’s still plenty of room!
So, if that’s really the only reason holding you back: Come on, we look forward to getting to know you!
Why exactly 12?
I think this 12-Dollar annual fee is actually a sign of discipline and commitment for all of us.
They are more of a symbolic amount — an act of obedience to God and a sign that everyone in a family does their part.
These 12 Dollar are part of the vision, and the most important thing for all of us was not to exclude anyone who wants to be part of Lion of Judah because of a lack of funds. Every student will be able to come up with this one euro a month — and if that’s really a problem for you, please get in touch, and together as a family we’ll find a solution!
The fact that this amount doesn’t even cover the administrative and postage costs for our brothers and sisters is irrelevant.
Likewise, there may be people who say to themselves: “I’m willing to contribute these 12 Dollar a month — or even more — since I’m already required to pay more in monthly broadcasting fees.
We simply trust that our Lord Jesus is able to provide for His ministry as well. 🙂
Biblically, twelve is a number of completeness.
It also signifies the perfection of government or state perfection.
Our year is divided into 12 months with 12 lunar cycles, and there are 12 signs of the zodiac.
Every day and every night are also divided into 12 hours, and in music, every octave consists of 12 semitones.
Since prehistoric times, the number 12 has been a mythical number in many cultures around the globe.
But the number 12 also has a special significance in the Bible itself.
Indeed, it runs literally from the beginning of God’s covenant people — the 12 tribes of Israel — through our Lord Jesus’ first public appearance at the age of 12 (Luke chapter 2, verse 42), His 12 disciples and the apostles, all the way into the distant future.
To the appearance of the heavenly Jerusalem, with its 12 foundation stones adorned with 12 kinds of precious stones, its 12 gates made of 12 pearls with 12 angels at each gate, its dimensions of 12,000 stadia, and its wall 144 (12 × 12) cubits (Revelation chapter 21) — throughout the entire Bible.
Oh, by the way, even the trees of life will bear fruit 12 times a year. 🙂
These are just a few examples, and they can, of course, be supplemented by many more Bible passages.
This is just meant to give you a small idea of why the Holy Spirit might have chosen the number 12 for membership — I still cannot answer this question with absolute certainty even today.
Everything you read here on these pages has been and continues to be crafted — to the best of our ability — in close “collaboration” with the one true God, who can still be experienced here on earth today through His Holy Spirit — which is why, at the very least, our subjective honesty is guaranteed.
If you have any suggestions or ideas for improvement… please contact us; we’re grateful for any help, and if it is His will, we’ll try to address them as soon as possible.
What does this require of me?
Financially, it’s just your 12-Dollar annual membership fee; otherwise, absolutely nothing.
Everything you want to do for, with, and as part of Lion of Judah is done entirely on a voluntary basis — nothing has value in the eyes of our God — unless you do it willingly and of your own accord for HIM!
However, this decision does commit you spiritually — you’re consciously choosing to become part of this family of God and, in doing so, to be a brother or sister to your fellow members of the Lion family.
You’re always talking about “family, brothers, and sisters.”
That’s exactly where I’ve had so many bad experiences!
Unfortunately, you’re not alone in this; many of us felt the same way, and others never even got to know a family.
Very few people had a “happy” childhood in a harmonious family — but we didn’t choose that natural family for ourselves either.
We were simply born into it — as the weakest link — completely helpless and dependent.
When I think about it, I come to the conclusion that each of us who can even read or write this today has reason to be thankful!
Even the Bible tells us that in the very first family after man became his own master, the first son — simply out of a feeling of envy — killed his brother!
Cain and Abel — I think each of us has heard this story before.
Later, the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were literally wiped out — in part because their inhabitants burned their own daughters and sons in the fire and sacrificed their children to idols in order to appease them.
Or even later, even the sons of Israel — who were supposed to know God — sold their own brother Joseph into slavery in Egypt…
And unfortunately, humanity has not “improved”—how many children in this world still associate the word “father” with sheer horror even today???
We are seeing more and more how the word is coming true: … Love will grow cold in many …
And this is all the more true the more “civilized” a nation becomes — or appears to be — especially within families.
Children can’t be dropped off at daycare early enough, and for the elderly — our own parents and grandparents — there are, of course, those lovely retirement and nursing homes.
If we were honest … The main thing is that we no longer need to take responsibility for our family members and have the time to pursue our own fulfillment.
The saddest fact of all is that the situation among us Christians — who are all supposed to be God’s children, HIS family — often isn’t much better.
And we don’t even need to look back to the “dark” Middle Ages, when people were called upon to commit murder in the name of God’s supposed will, or think of the countless burnings of heretics and witches.
Even if things may be less brutal today, spiritually speaking, little has changed since the days of the Pharisees and Sadducees in Jesus’ time.
People may even call each other Brother and Sister So-and-so, but behind the scenes, in many congregations or churches, the same intrigues and power struggles play out exactly according to the same pattern as in a club, a company, a government agency, politics, or anywhere else!
And many disappointed people are turning away from this “Christianity” because their so-called brothers and sisters inflicted deeper wounds in a short time than the “world” ever could.
But in “God’s Kingdom,” where HIS guidelines and standards are followed, it’s completely different. 🙂
In “Heaven,” eternity, the “Paradise,” only the children of God live together in perfect harmony and love, as a family in God’s eyes.
God Himself, the almighty Creator of the universe, is the “absolutely perfect” Father, and out of pure love, Jesus went to the cross for us.
Okay, that’s probably perfect — but none of us is!
That’s true, and in this world, we’ll probably never be either.
But our goal should be to always become “better,” to become more and more like this Jesus the Christ.
The same instructions from the Father, our LORD, and “our big brother” Jesus apply to all of us.
Every single person reading this text can discover and read these instructions for themselves in God’s Word, the Bible.
And we can all ask the Holy Spirit for guidance, and we have brothers and sisters who love us, pray for us, and want to help us. 🙂
However, to fully answer this question, we must also include the explanation that Jesus Himself gives about HIS family.
You’ll find this in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 12, verses 46–50.
While Jesus was teaching a crowd, he was told that his earthly family had come and wanted to speak with him.
Jesus then asked, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?”
And he answers his own question by pointing to his disciples and saying:
“Look, these here are my mother and my brothers; for whoever does the will of my heavenly Father is my brother, sister, and mother!”
I think that’s clear — and learning more and more about exactly that is our goal in the Lion Family!
Aren’t you getting a bit carried away with the phrase “God’s family” and this sense of exclusivity?
Aren’t you a religious sect?
Certainly not — and we’re not exclusive at all — quite the opposite — and we’re also fully aware that Lion of Judah is just a small and tiny part of God’s whole family.
However, we know from our brothers and sisters in Lion of Judah that they — just like we ourselves — have decided to be sisters and brothers to one another, not just in name or title. 🙂
The “framework” that Jesus Himself outlines for God’s family can be found just a few lines above. (Matthew, chapter 12, verses 46–50)
So the founder of Christianity Himself sets forth the requirements for being accepted into God’s family — and also what excludes us from it!
Any church, any congregation, or even just a gathering that holds a view differing from that of Jesus Christ can and must therefore be regarded as a sect within Christianity — but we do not belong to it. 🙂
Regarding exclusivity: We have no additional “exclusion criteria” beyond those mentioned by Jesus.
Anyone who is willing — who “wants to learn to fulfill these requirements of our LORD more and more” — is also warmly invited into HIS Lion Family.
However, whether she or he wishes to become a part of it is something each person can and must decide for themselves.
If you’re now asking yourself: Why not?!…
As already mentioned, we at Lion of Judah aren’t interested in “membership numbers” — but we’re happy to welcome anyone who’s willing to be a sister or a brother and whom we have the privilege of getting to know right now, in this “life.”
Because, at Lion of Judah, we truly want to be brothers and sisters to one another, just as God desires for His children —
or at least learn to become better at it.
We want to grow together, stand by one another, and support each other with our gifts —
the “talents” that God has given to each and every one of us — including you.
We realize that none of us is perfect and that we all “need” one another to work together toward the same goal.
In the Lion Family, we want to become more and more like our LORD, FRIEND, Brother, and BRIDEGROOM, Jesus Christ —
and build God’s Kingdom together!
So — if you’re already a Christian and feel HIS gentle prompting in your heart:
Then please pray to see if it might also be time for you to “live out the Kingdom of God” together with us as your family and to advance HIS ministry through this.
Yes, and if you already hear HIS call to do so:
Simply become a part of this “work” of our Lord Jesus Christ — which is meant solely to serve HIS glory!
May you, too — like all of us in the Lionfamily — be “covered” by the prayers of your brothers and sisters — or, if that is your calling, even become part of our prayer team.
Grow in faith together with your brothers and sisters, experience more and more what it means to become a blessing to others—
and thereby live more and more in blessing yourself. 🙂
